DON BOSCO SCHOOL

The cultural and co-curricular activities of the school are conducted through the House System provided by the school authorities in accordance with the educational method of Don Bosco. All students are urged to take an active part in it.

Don Bosco School is owned and run by the Catholic Religious Community. No disrespect should be shown to articles and images of religion and worship proper to that religious group.

No act of indiscipline, insubordination, interference in the administration, or disrespect to any teacher, religion or community by any student shall be tolerated.

Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience, or conduct injurious to the moral tone of the school may justify dismissal at any time of the year, unless the student corrects the behaviour after being admonished.

Parents and Guardians are requested to make proper arrangements to collect children/wards immediately after school hours.

Use of unfair means in examinations: the answer script concerned will not be evaluated, and parents must sign an undertaking. A second occurrence results in an immediate Transfer Certificate.

Don Bosco School is a tobacco-free school. Students found with tobacco products face a two-week suspension (parents must sign an undertaking); a second occurrence results in suspension until final exams, followed by a Transfer Certificate.

Any damage to school property must be made good by the student concerned.

Stealing or forging signatures are serious faults, which may lead to suspension/dismissal.

Students found using alcohol, smoking, chewing tobacco/pan or engaging in substance abuse may be suspended or dismissed.

Disputes between students, or between students and staff, are resolved by the Principal or a Principal-authorised committee; unresolved matters go to the School Managing Board, whose decision is final.

Students who defame the school's or a teacher's name on social media will be readmitted only after a published apology; repeated instances may lead to expulsion.
